The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established Loewenstein as the environmental standard for the industry's wood finishing guidelines. Loewenstein's Ultraviolet (UV) Finishing system is the only one of its kind in operation in the United States. The system ('s):Reduces emissions by utilizing more solids versus solvents which are electrostatically applied to our stains,sealers and topcoat processes. High-tech spray guns reduce overspray by an additional 40% as compared to manual/hand held sprayers. Finishes are instantly cured at the end of our manufacturing process. Zero formalhyde emissions ( “off-gassing”) Excess finishing material is highly filtered prior to re-entry to the environment or is gathered and re-cycled
as a catalyst in the manufacturing of concrete products. Raw material, European Beech, comes from managed and reforrested sources. All packaging is made from recycled materials.
